Technical Programs Co-ordinator (Part-Time)


Reports To:
Executive Director and General Manager


Hourly Rate:
$17 - $20 (dependent on qualifications and experience)

Futsal is an excellent sport that targets ball mastery skills, speed, agility, and creativity which can also be used to enhance one's performance on the soccer pitch.


TECHNICAL PROGRAMS CO-ORDINATOR


The Technical Programs Co-Ordinator will assist as a coach and game official for various development and league programs for youth ages As a Technical Programs Co-ordinator, it is expected that the successful applicants uphold the Oakville Futsal Club's values and policies and provides the best experience to all members.

In addition, the Technical Programs Co-Ordinator is expected to:


  • Support the program leads during sessions and games by providing constructive and helpful feedback and coaching to program participants.
  • Assist in designing session plans and activities that are age and stage appropriate.
  • Become familiar with Oakville Futsal Club league rules and assist with officiating league games.
  • Become familiar with using FitLight and other technology OFC offers to support player development.
  • Ensure the lounge and facility space is kept clean and a welcoming space (i.e. empty garbage bins when full, use mop or broom to keep floors clean and safe, etc.)
  • All other duties requested by Executive Director and General Manager

REQUIREMENTS

  • Legally entitled to work in Canada according to relevant provincial legislation and regulations.
  • Minimum 1 year experience of working with and coaching youth.
  • Adaptable and able to work in a fastpaced environment.
  • Ability to work nontraditional hours (evenings and weekends) i.e. Monday
  • Friday 3:30PM 9:30PM, Saturdays 7:30AM 1:30PM, etc.
  • Strong communication skills
