Our Court Reporters offer the highest professional standards in out-of-court examinations, arbitrations, certified court transcripts and more. In this role, you'll work directly with our Court Reporters. A degree or diploma in English, communications, publishing or translation will prepare you to assist with high-level tasks. Attention to detail is essential given the importance of accuracy in this position. Strong English writing and communication skills are also necessary as you'll be working directly with clients.

We are growing quickly and are ready to hire as soon as we find the perfect fit. Work is typically remote Monday to Friday. Salary commensurate with experience.


Responsibilities:


  • Format legal verbatim transcripts according to quality control standards and format guidelines
  • Review and correct transcripts for spelling, punctuation, and grammatical errors
  • Convert transcript files to electronic format according to set guidelines
  • Coordinate printing, binding, courier, and delivery of transcripts (inhouse or outsourced, depending on requirements)
  • Work closely with other Document Editors to distribute transcript production workload according to capacity and deadlines
  • Maintain organized electronic and hardcopy filing system for all transcript files and conversions
  • Flag contractor formatting issues or client concerns to the Production Supervisor and/or Director of Operations
  • Collaborate with the Director of Client Care to discuss and resolve client, operational, or workload issues
  • Identify opportunities for improvement to formatting processes
  • Prepare billing sheets for all work orders and input into AP software
  • Provide administrative support to other departments including but not limited to: client or contractor communication orders, data entry of new jobs, audio vetting or conversion, maintenance of logs, and creation of reports

Salary:
$45,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
