    Position Summary


    The Licensed HET/310T is responsible for servicing and maintaining company equipment by using standard "Best Practices", and providing guidance to apprentices.

    Responsibilities will encompass diagnosing mechanical issues, conducting repairs, and performing preventive maintenance tasks to keep our fleet in optimal condition.

    Additionally, will collaborate with the maintenance team, adhere to safety standards, and contribute to minimizing downtime and maximizing the efficiency of our trucking services.

    Monday - Thursday

    What you will do

    Examine objects, systems, or facilities, and analyze information to determine needed installations, services, or repairs
    Determine schedules, sequences, and assignments for work activities, based on work priority, quantity of equipment and skill of personnel
    Assist apprentices and technicians to correct job-skill deficiencies and provide developmental direction.
    Monitor tool and part inventories and the condition and maintenance of shops to ensure adequate working conditions
    Compile operational and personnel records, such as time and production records, inventory data, repair and maintenance statistics, and test results

    What You'll Bring

    College diploma; or trade apprenticeship certification

    Certification:
    Licensed Heavy Duty Mechanic; Off & On Road, CVIP / "310T"

    Along with the following Skills & Competencies:
    Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
    Excellent organizational skills and the ability to work in a high volume, fast paced environment
    Ability to multi task and be flexible with the companies ever changing needs
    Proficiency with computers including Microsoft Office and web based applications preferred
