Role Summary:

Territory Managers are responsible for overseeing a specific region of North America and fostering strong customer relationships. Successful Territory Managers design and execute strategies aimed at growing regional revenue across all of Freedom Concepts' sales channels. They are focused on business development and achieve this by concentrating on new growth and chasing down opportunities.


Territory Managers are expected to have a high-level of expertise with all of Freedom Concepts' products and feel comfortable speaking and presenting on them regularly.

Success in this role will be demonstrated by the ability to achieve or beat established revenue targets.

This role is a challenging one that requires a high attention to detail, significant memory use, collaborating with your peers, and a desire to exceed expectations.


Specific Functions:


  • Provide a great customer experience by being a primary point of contact for customers and assisting them in product evaluations, responding to questions about price / availability, and overcoming objections along the way.
  • Datamine and research therapy centers, hospitals, schools, dealers, other types of facilities, and funding sources in each Province / State within the Territory.
  • Initiate the sales process by scheduling appointments, conducting informative inservices, and understanding how to fulfill each individual customer's needs.
  • Properly identify and probe for customer needs, overcome obstacles, handle objections, and diffuse elevated / escalated customers,
  • Manage existing customer relationships and network effectively to expand sales opportunities.
  • Able to remotely manage demo products and ensure that they are always placed in a strategic location where the products are generating new quotes and activity.
  • Work closely and collaboratively with both the Customer Service and Marketing teams, building relationships and trust with each respective team member
  • Identify sales leads and business opportunities, trying to maximize value and information from each unique lead.
  • Participate and act as team lead for tradeshows, conferences, and conventions in the Territory.
  • Build strong relationships with repeat funding sources and effectively match specific funding criteria to a family in need.
  • Engage in corporate culture and extracurricular staff activities.
  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements / Qualifications:


  • 5+ years Sales experience (combination of B2C and B2B is preferred)
  • The ability to travel roughly 1012 weeks a year is a requirement
  • Relationship expert with a demonstrated commitment to customer satisfaction (both transactional and relational types of customers)
  • Developed critical thinking and problemsolving skills. Adept at solving puzzles and enjoys complex scenarios.
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills, with professional mannerisms and presentation
  • Highly selfmotivated and directed with keen attention to detail
  • Experience with a CRM (customer relationship management) system is an asset
  • Time management, planning, and prioritization skills
  • Good business sense and negotiation ability
  • Experience with managing demo products / sales tools that are left in the field for trial or display is considered an asset
  • Fully vaccinated against COVID19 is also a requirement

Salary / Commission Range:
