Description

Maviro Canada is currently looking for vacuum truck operators to join our team

Safely drive and operate vacuum trucks and industrial vacuum equipment
Complying with all safe work practices, policies and acting in a safe manner at all times is a condition of employment
Participate in daily safety meetings
Ensure all tasks are completed in a safe and time efficient manner
Assist with work preparation as required
Perform general equipment maintenance and repairs
Communicate directly with supervisor and dispatcher
Work closely with customers and coworkers
Possess a clean class 3 driver license (CDL) is essential
Previous experience operating wet/dry vacuum trucks is preferred
Ability to work independently in a busy environment
Valid safety tickets preferred: First Aid, H2S Alive, CSTS 9, WHMIS 2015, Fall Protection and Confined Space Entry, Transportation of Dangerous Goods
Travel and out of town work will be required and the ability to work long shifts is important
Previous shutdown/turnaround experience is an asset
Must be physically fit, walking, lifting, carrying and climbing stairs is required
High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
