RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Understand TYCROP's manufacturing environment, processes and capabilities
  • Work with a team to design facility & workspace layouts
  • Engage in strategic planning with our core manufacturing group
  • Collect data, measure and identify opportunities to improve efficiencies
  • Assist in measuring and tracking cost savings
  • Standardize and document processes
  • Assist in creating value stream maps
  • Use the A3 process to solve problems & document projects
  • Assist in quality planning and data analysis
  • Work with cross functional teams engineering, planning, purchasing, inventory control & production
  • Support Lean projects in all areas of the company
  • Support employees and supervisors with continuous improvement projects
  • Able to manage projects and tasks effectively and remain on time
  • A very handson individual that is willing to set up workflow areas
  • Ability to work & communicate directly with people in all departments to further refine efficiencies

STRONG ASSETS

  • Experience in a wide variety of manufacturing trades, Production and/or Warehouse an asset
  • Experience in reading drawings, BOM lists, ERP systems
  • Ability to measure, layout, set up racking and structures
  • Basic knowledge of processes such as brakes, laser cutting, welding, painting

YOU ARE

  • Able to execute a plan onto the shop floor by measuring, layout, erecting structures using basic tools.
  • Confident to liaison with other departments in developing best practice methods through analysis and experimentation.
  • Proficiency in process flow diagrams, documentation & measuring of improvements, shop floor work
- instructions.

  • Good communicator and planner when approaching new projects.
  • Knowledgeable in ERP systems, Lean methods, and concepts with a strong ability to liaison with all departments involved in new projects.

$24.00-$34.00 per hour


Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
