The Opportunity:

Keeping optimization and efficiency top of mind, the HR Shared Services Processing Centre will focus on driving operational excellence through processing moderate to complex employee transactions


You Are Great At:


  • As a member of the HR Shared Services Processing Centre, you will be an expert in managing daytoday operations transactions, including coordinating with other operations functions and thirdparty vendors as required
  • Responsible for managing timeconsuming transactions with niche capabilities, members of the Processing team will support in areas such as onboarding/offboarding, Compensation & Benefits, timekeeping & payroll (where applicable), and employment changes, with a focus on one or more of these areas
  • Payroll function (APJ/India Only): EndtoEnd Payroll Delivery for Regular cycle, offcycle, and full and final settlements; Inputs review and processing, Payroll reconciliation and reporting, Managing regulatory and taxrelated activities
  • Core HR function: Manage Employee Onboarding (offer letters and onboarding activities), Organization and Position Management (org structure maintenance, restructuring and employee transfers, Job/Position creation and updates), Pay scales updates, leave management (Vacation, Longterm leave, Shortterm disability, Returntowork), Offboarding (Resignations, Redundancy, Terminations, etc.) and maintaining all filing of personnel information and employee records.
  • Develop and maintain HR content in the selfservice portal and existing documentation in accordance with policy and/or systems changes/updates
  • You will work closely with the Response Centre offering triage support to process requests
  • Leverage HR Knowledgebase to ensure consistent and optimized processes, while keeping continuous improvement top of mind
  • Responsible for delivering a highquality employee experience, and cultivating a culture of customer service
  • Preparation of monthly reports as defined by various inscope support areas

Decision Making, Judgement & Autonomy

  • Work independently under general supervision and collaboratively as part of a team. Holds self and develops influence by supporting others to be accountable in meeting commitments, consistently delivering results within required timelines and expectations
  • Any situations which would be considered outside of standard operating procedure that can directly or indirectly create significant financial, regulatory & compliance, and reputational impact to OpenText would be escalated to HRSS Specialist Centre Manager and Regional HRSS leader as appropriate
  • The role will have responsibilities for helping to manage relationships with external vendors/stakeholders in exercising judgment for creating proposals to identify appropriate solutions to programs/issues and will make recommendations with HRSS Specialist Centre Manager before implementing solutions

What It Takes:

The HRSS Processing Centre will identify solutions for managing the following activities:

  • Perform Human Resources related transactions and business processes, with varying complexities, to ensure timely and accurate data based on system workflow and business requirements
  • Proactively take part in supporting the ongoing development, impact analysis and documentation of procedures, processes, and protocols in partnership with HRSS Support Centres, HR CoEs, and HR Partners
  • Participate in the testing, implementation, upgrading and support of new or modified system changes, as directed by the Manager
  • Serve as HRSS Support Centre SME and work with HR Support Centre members to troubleshoot unusual data entry issues, collaborate with key stakeholders on resolution when necessary, and achieve single to mínimal touchpoints with employees. In most cases, there is a standard operating procedure available to execute a process and can also be used in resolving issues
  • Acts as primary liaison to staff across layers, for general to complex types of inquiries and requires firstlevel escalation resolution
  • Collaborates effectively with other team members within HRSS to execute tasks and fulfill critical deliverables within the service delivery support function. Create and foster relationships with division resources to expand or modify services to support departmental growth and efficiency, legal entity mergers
  • As a member of the Processing Centre, you will build relationships with other COEs by ensuring timely and accurate information sharing as required
  • Partner with COE's on process improvements and leverage their knowledge for deviations from standard processes that require consultation
  • Communicate relevant downstream information to HR COEs and 3rd party v
