We are seeking a Materials Technician to join our office in Saskatoon.

Your Contribution:
As a Materials Testing and Field InspectionTechnician, you will work in collaboration with the Materials Testing Team.
Your main responsibilities will be:
- Field inspection during placement of soils and aggregates including reviewing import materials, equipment used, construction sequencing and daily conditions
- Field compaction testing of soils & aggregates according to relevant test standards
- Receiving and properly recording all field samples for testing
- Communicating results effectively with onsite personnel and Englobe supervisor
- Reviewing and properly referencing construction drawings
- Maintaining proper records of field testing and preparing daily test summary reports
Your Profile:
- Experience in construction and/or soil and aggregate testing is an asset;
- Ability to handle samples up to 20kg of materials regularly;
- Must have a valid Driver's License and submit a drivers abstract;
- Demonstrated interest and sensitivity towards occupational health and safety;
- Teamoriented and an excellent communicator;
- Willingness to work regular construction hours (Mon-Sat 1012hrs/day)
