Heart Pharmacy is seeking a passionate and customer service oriented Lead Pharmacy Assistant be part of our committed, energetic, and knowledgeable team at our Fairfield location.

This is a full time opportunity, and requires previous pharmacy experience.

This is an exciting opportunity with the chance to develop your leadership skills.

The Lead Pharm acy Assistant is responsible for leadership functions such as scheduling duties, training and identifying opportunities for improving workflow.

Working as an integral member of our team, you will:
Assist the Pharmacist in the day-to-day activities in the pharmacy.

Help patients who are dropping off or picking up their prescriptions.

Assist pharmacist in scheduling and maintaining work flow.

Assist in training new employees.

Provide excellent customer service to all patients and call Pharmacist when required for medication recommendations, selection or counseling.

Identify opportunities and take actions for improving customer service and customer care.

Help direct team and workflow on a day to day basis with support of Pharmacy manager or pharmacist.

Operate the cash register as needed.

General clerical duties as directed by Pharmacy Manager.

Requirements & Skills:

Previous experience working as a Pharmacy Assistant or Technician.

Excellent organizational skills and detail orientation.

Strong communication skills, both verbally and in writing.

Proficient computer and data entry skills and basic math skills.

Demonstrated customer service experience.

Demonstrated positive and professional attitude

Prioritizes work to meet deadlines.

Ability to multitask and focus within a fast-paced environment.
