• Assist optometrist with patient care, including pretesting and preparing patients for exams
• Maintain and clean ophthalmic instruments and equipment
• Order and maintain inventory of contact lenses and eyeglass frames
• Schedule appointments and manage patient records using electronic medical record (EMR) systems
• Provide exceptional customer service to patients, addressing their needs and concerns

• Previous experience in retail sales or customer service preferred
• Familiarity with optical terminology and procedures is a plus
• Knowledge of medical terminology is beneficial
• Experience working with EMR systems, such as Epic, is a plus

As an Optometric Assistant/optician, you will play a crucial role in supporting the optometrist in providing quality eye care to patients.

Your attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and ability to work well in a team will contribute to the overall success of our practice.
