Specific Responsibilities:

Project Coordination:Collaborate with Project Managers, Architects, Designers, Engineers, Clients, and Subcontractors to ensure seamless communication and coordination throughout the construction process.

Timelines:Assist in developing project schedules, milestones, and deadlines, and ensure adherence to timelines.

Permitting and Compliance:Manage the permitting process, ensuring that all necessary permits and approvals are obtained in a timely manner. Stay current on building codes, regulations, and industry standards to ensure compliance with all relevant guidelines.

Resource Management:Coordinate the allocation of resources, including labour, equipment, and materials, to meet project requirements.

Resource Monitoring:Monitor and track the availability and delivery of construction materials, ensuring that the project stays on schedule.

Communication:Act as a liaison between project stakeholders, providing regular updates on project progress, potential issues, and resolutions.

Meetings:Facilitate regular meetings with project teams to review schedules, discuss challenges, and strategize solutions. Take detailed minutes on meetings.

Quality Control:Implement and oversee quality control procedures to ensure that construction work meets established standards and specifications.

Site Inspections:Conduct site inspections to identify and address any quality or safety concerns promptly.

Budget Management:Assist in budget development and monitoring, tracking project expenses and identifying potential cost-saving opportunities. Work closely with the finance department to ensure accurate and timely processing of invoices and payments.

Tendering:Assist the Project Manager in the tendering RFP process, including providing information to relevant sub trades.

Documentation:Help maintain accurate and current project documentation, including contracts, drawings, change orders, and other relevant records for future reference and audits.

Administration:Assist the Project Manager with job specific administrative tasks.
Trades Organisation:

Trade Booking:Responsible for working with Project Manager to book trades on specific projects and subsequent meetings with Site Foreman to bring them up to speed.

Trade Schedule: Assist in managing trade schedules.

Materials: Assist with proactively ordering all materials through suppliers to enable trades to function properly and in a timely manner.
Builder Trend:
- Regular maintenance and updates to BuilderTrend project files.
- Updating all photos of the project for client's perusal and subsequent enquiries.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in construction management or a related field is preferred.
- CPC certification is considered an asset.
- Previous experience in the construction industry is a must.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
- Excellent organisation and multitasking abilities.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in project management software (BuilderTrend) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to thrive in a fastpaced, dynamic work environment.

$60,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
