Description

For this position we are looking for a Press Operator that is able to perform all stages of the stamping process, from the prepress stage and set up to the finished product.

Responsibilities:

Set up dies and auxiliary equipment, including selecting and loading appropriate dies and raw material.
Monitor all quality issues and assist in resolutions, ensure that adequate raw material stock is maintained.
Troubleshoot and correct problems as they arise.
Complete daily maintenance of equipment.
Maintain safe working conditions in the Stamping area, with regard to machinery and materials used.
Ensure all safety equipment is functioning at all times and report concerns to supervisor or manager.
First off approval's & quality control checks using fixtures and measuring tools.
Complete production and in process inspection records as required.
Communicate with all team members.
Oversee the loading, unloading, and accurate storage of goods
Ensure orders are sent out on time and in accordance with order requirements
Ensure all product is labelled correctly
Identify areas that need improvements and suggest changes to management
Rectify any issues that may arise in a timely manner
Work with all personnel to mentor and train in all areas of the operation
Complete other duties as assigned

Responsibilities of the position include strong organizational and time management abilities to ensure that set ups are done on time, with a high level of quality control.

He or she will troubleshoot problems within the stamping process, including operation of the auxiliary equipment involved in the process.
