Hatch Kids Learning Centre offers full-time and part-time PreK and Our of School Care (OSC) programs for children 3 to 12 years old in the heart of Richmond, BC.

We are inspired by the Reggio Emilia approach and the emergent curriculum, with a focus on preparing children for kindergarten emotionally, socially, and academically.

We are looking for a passionate Early Childhood Educator Assistant or Early Childhood Educator to join our team part-time.


We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic team player who will support our educators in both the PreK & OSC program to create a unique curriculum catered to the children in the program.

You are fun, engaging, flexible, and willing to learn.


Responsibilities:


  • Supporting educators in planning and implementing an enriching curriculum
  • Maintaining a positive and professional relationship with parents and guardians
  • Adhering to all licensing regulations
  • Monitoring and engaging children during indoor and outdoor activities
  • Keeping program facilities and equipment safe and clean

Requirements:


  • A valid ECEA or ECE Certificate
  • A valid First Aid/CPR-C
  • A clean criminal record check
  • An uptodate immunization record
  • Experience working with children who require extra support an asset

Salary and Benefits:
- $17 - $22/hour based on certification and experience plus 4% in lieu of vacation

  • Additional $4/hour wage enhancement for those with a valid ECE certificate
  • 5 sick days

Hours:
Wednesdays & Fridays 8:45am to 5:00pm during the school year with the possibility of increased hours during Spring & Summer breaks

Applicants must be fluent in written and spoken English and hold valid visas to work in Canada.

$17.00-$22.00 per hour
