Job Description:
Responsible for supporting wholesale and retail target achievement through coordination of Power Equipment and Marine sales operations activities.

Support Power Equipment and Marine sales operations team with situational analysis and reporting to meet sales objectives and target achievement, through competitive analysis and development of short term and long-term strategies.

Act as liaison with Sales & Production Planning, Zone Offices, Marketing, other internal departments, and Dealers to ensure divisional alignment and activities remain on target and executed as planned.

RESPONSIBILITIES*- Capture dealer demand for product through online and manual processes;

  • Summarize and analyze dealer demand feedback to optimize future production planning;
  • Execute Retail Sales Objective (RSO) process and retail and wholesale target setting for Power Equipment and Marine;
  • Summarize market information and develop proposals to support target achievement;
  • Support monthly Sales Program Meetings with content creation, analysis, proposals, and other activities as required;
  • Prepare and develop communication for dealer bulletin drafts and national content for use by Zones for Power Equipment and Marine sales operations activities;
  • Respond to sales program and product related inquiries from zones and dealers;
  • Analyze results and assist with development of countermeasures to recover gaps versus target;
  • Use Plan, Do, Check and Act methodology to assess opportunities, gaps and develop countermeasures;
  • Process claims payments monthly for Commercial, Government, along with various manual adjustments and invoices as required;
  • Act as liaison with various internal departments:
  • Sales and Production Planning
  • optimize allocation and shipping to achieve wholesale and retail targets, and balance inventory levels between warehouses;
  • Product Planning review model lineup and pricing;
  • Sales Support Group provide inbound shipment updates, monthly wholesale forecast updates and offer support;
  • Marketing develop and implement marketing strategies in support of retail objectives;
  • Zones develop communication strategies to motivate zones and dealers in support of sales objectives. Prepare and update monthly price lists.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • College or university degree and/or related work experience;
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills;
  • Demonstrates solid planning, organizational skills along with a strong attention to detail;
  • Possesses strong mathematical and analytical abilities;
  • Proficient in managing large datasets;
  • Expertlevel knowledge of Excel (charting, graphing, pivot tables, and report generation) along with solid working knowledge of Word, PowerPoint, Business Objects;
  • Possesses a strong outgoing and proactive approach to their work and takes pride in achieving results and succeeding;
  • Must be resultsoriented and able to manage multiple priorities in a fastpaced team environment;
  • Develops and maintains good working relationships with all members of the team, internal support groups, Zones and Dealers.
