INDUSTRIAL EQUIPMENT REPRESENTATIVE
The COMPANY
SUMMARY OF THE POSITION
As the Industrial Equipment Representative, you will be our sole industrial market expert and our customers first point of contact.
You will be tasked with developing and maintaining a positive relationship with all industrial clients in Ontario.In this position you will be responsible for meeting with customers on-site, assessing their needs for equipment and services, developing a solution and financial proposal for there requirements, demonstrating our products and winning their business.
RESPONSABILITIES AND DUTIES
- Develop and maintain industrial customers, municipalities and fire department relationships in the territory
- Create sustainable business relationships and represent the company in a professional manner
- Become a product expert, including learning all the selling features and benefits of our offerings
- Plan and execute sales strategies and solutions
- Prepare proposals for the customers
- Present and demonstrate products during business, and if required afterhours
- Attend trade shows
- Participate in technical training and development activities to provide quality consulting services.
FEATURES OF EMPLOYMENT
The applicant must be skilled at managing his/her schedule; be autonomous, self motivated and goal oriented.
Work schedule may vary depending on customer availability.
Compensation includes a base salary plus sales commissions. A commercial company vehicle is provided and all essential work-related tools and expenses for the representative are provided.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
- College level education
- Minimum sales experience of 5 years
- Customer service and relationship building skills
- Knowledgeable of computerized sales management (CRM) tools and Microsoft office
- Industrial sales experience preferred (Firefighting market experience an asset)
- Valid driver's license
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
- Start date: as soon as possible.
- Schedule type: Fulltime.
- Group insurance after 3 months probation, paid vacation
- RRSP after one year of continuous work
