Part Time Junior Lawyer - Montréal, Canada - GET IN CANADA

Description

Our Office is located in Montreal, QC, and has over 15 years experience in the field of immigration and refugee law.

We are currently looking for a Member in good standing CICC-
IRB or a junior lawyer to join our team.

Their main tasks will include

Preparing and pleading refugee claims before the Immigration and Refugee Board of Canada.

Perform documentary research;
Conduct research on migration laws, regulations, case law, and doctrine;
Perform tasks such as opening, preparing, and monitoring files;
Prepare forms, draft documents, etc.;
Also, should be able to perform work for clients interested to immigrate/ studying/ investing in Canada.

Follow up on new Federal and Provincial Immigration/ Nomination programs

The applicant must be a member of the Quebec Bar or Member in good standing CICC-
IRB, fluent in English and/or French (knowledge of other languages is an asset), at ease to work with the public, flexible, professional, resourceful, have good oral communication skills, and be a team player.

Contract length: 12 months


Salary:
$30.00-$75.00 per hour
