Interior Design Materials Coordinator

Full-time or Part-time (22.5 hours)

is seeking a highly motivated, creative and organized individual, enthusiastic about design and the environment to join our award-winning team as an Interior Design Materials Coordinator.

Role and Responsibilities

As an Interior Design Materials Coordinator, you will be the curator of our in-house sample library.


You will be responsible for the management of the sample library content, acting as the main contact person for suppliers' new products submission, presentations, sample orders from suppliers.

In addition to providing crucial support to in-house teams in product research. Assisting in various stages of project execution. Some reception relief, when needed.

Responsibilities:


  • Manage the sample library content and corresponding digital database
  • Liaise with suppliers to evaluate new products and to keep library samples updated
  • Create sample orders from suppliers
  • Assist in product research and selection.
  • Create sample boards and presentation packages
  • Continue education related to product updates and industry trends with a focus on environment impact and product sustainability
Position Requirements

  • Preferred minimum of 4 years' experience in a similar role.
  • Knowledge of key suppliers and manufacturers
  • Knowledge of FF&E, product specifications
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills
  • Initiativetaker, people oriented, and results driven
  • Effective communication skills with good command of spoken and written English.
  • Strong proficiency in Office 365, Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point, dRofus is a benefit
  • Additional assets: understanding of best practices; OBC, ANSI, ADA & Sustainability, Wellness and LEED certification
  • Graduate of a recognized school of Interior Design or Art Program or relevant programme
  • Strong proficiency in various online meeting tools
