We have an exciting opportunity for a
Regional Manager to join our growing team

Location:
London, ON. Frequent visits to Homes within the defined geographical region will be required.

Schedule: 40 hours a week (Monday to Friday)

Status:
Permanent, Full-time

In this role you will:

Responsible for managing daytoday operations of staff and customer Homes in assigned region
Works alongside the Director, Operations to successfully implement Physiotherapy and or Occupational Therapy service in assigned Longterm Care Homes
Maintains consistent staffing of Homes and liaise with Recruitment staff to provide adequate coverages for vacations and planned/unplanned absences
Monitors the hours worked by to ensure they meet, but do not exceed, the contracted hours by home and works with staff and Homes to schedule any makeup hours due to outbreaks, illnesses, etc.
Ensures training and orientation for all new staff is completed and documented
Participates in Weekly Regional Manager Meetings (teleconferences) and other quarterly Physiotherapy Meetings by webinar and teleconference as organized
Follows all Seniors Wellness policies and procedures and conducts spot checks when visiting Homes to ensure all staff are following the policies and procedures
Completes annual performance reviews of Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists and Physiotherapy Assistants
Acts as a Clinical Consultant to support Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists and Physiotherapy Assistants when they have questions and connects them with appropriate resources as required
Provides assistance in recruiting new staff
Provides education as requested by Homes
Helps to implement new programs as initiated by Seniors Wellness

Qualifications:

Graduate of Bachelor of Kinesiology program or a similar healthcare background
Experience in a Long-Term Care setting preferred
Experience managing operations and/or projects across multiple locations is an asset
Experience in Gerontology/Continuous quality improvement is an asset
Team player with demonstrated strong leadership in clinic/region/company
Proficient interpersonal skills through both oral and written communication
Able to travel as required and in possession of a valid driver's license
