Hybrid: You'll work both remote and onsite, where time onsite is based on your job accountabilities and performance objectives.


As ATB's next Junior Business Analyst, you will act as a facilitator and liaison within the End to End Process Architecture team, providing process analysis support for projects and initiatives. When completing your analysis and problem solving, the focus will be on both business and technical aspects. You will work on troubleshooting all levels of a process ensuring it aligns to the client experience. You will perform data analysis to provide compelling recommendations and collaborate with cross-functional teams to launch/execute initiatives and optimize processes on an ongoing basis. You will identify and analyze opportunities for improving business and system related processes within projects, and may facilitate the planning and coordination of improvements. You will be responsible for preparing and maintaining all related process documentation, ensuring accuracy, and distribution to relevant parties. You will partner with business and/or technical resources to drive solutions that align to ATB's strategy and move the business forward.


The Business Analyst has a solid understanding of business analysis skills/techniques as well as a good foundation of experience utilizing the skills in practice.


Key Responsibilities

  • Support and provide a WOW experience to our ATB team members through process analysis and improvement opportunities.
  • Directly involved in the preparation of various documents such as business processes, process analysis, high level user documents, process maps,
  • Provide support to the preparation as needed for various documents such as test scripts, presentations, communications, training resources etc.
  • Interprets and translates business needs. Recommend and own realworld solutions in realizing ATB's purpose making 'it' possible for our customers.
  • Analyze needs, recommend strategy, formulate action plans and requirements, in improving tools and automating processes within Experience Operations. May assist in the preparation of business cases, change management requirements, and timelines.
  • Understands the components of running a fiscally successful project, the necessity of project standards & applies them consistently.
  • Produce and deliver effective and professional written materials including presentations to partners and stakeholders.
  • Assist in the development of business, technical, scope and requirements documentation, databases, and reporting.
  • Works collaboratively with senior Business Analysts, Operations Analysts and Business Subject Matter Experts (SME's) by participating in process reviews and/or providing process modeling services of current state and/or future state.
  • Participates in the establishment and continuous review and improvement of Business Analysis standards, procedures, and processes that support the general competencies outlined in the Business Analysis Body of Knowledge (BABOK) as appropriate for your position.

Requirements:


  • Post secondary education in a related field, with relevant industry related experience is preferred
  • 13 years related experience
  • Lean Management/ Business Analysis experience
  • Experience with Business Process Management lifecycle and modeling techniques.
  • Proficiency level of the Google Suite of products (Docs, Sheets, Slides)
  • Working towards or willing to work towards acquiring technical competencies (i

e Process Management Software (IE:
ARIS), Knowledge Management tools)

  • Effective time management and prioritization skills.
  • Passion for continuous innovation and automation of business processes
  • Knowledge of financial systems a plus
  • Agile/Scrum (Jira) experience a plus
