ABOUT THE POSITION

  • One of the industry leading Manufacturers and Wholesale Distributors across North America is looking for an Administrative Assistant to support with reception relief, as well as accounts payables, sales desk, pricing, and other daytoday tasks. _

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Answer all incoming phone calls and redirecting the call to the appropriate people
  • Address all walkins that come to the receptionist desk and coordinate with the sales team and other office staff on their availability and suitability to assist in the customers' requirements
  • Monitor and record attendance for the office staff.
  • Maintain the filing systems, record keeping and the distribution of mail.
  • Distribute orders to the sales teams for pricing confirmation.
  • Enter priced orders into the company software for invoicing.
  • Enter credit returns into the company software for credit.
  • Assist with keeping office supplies replenished and maintain the receptionist desk in a neat and orderly fashion. Including lobby, lunch area and foyer.
  • Assist with event planning and/or meetings such as luncheons, customer appreciation or social committees
  • Other duties as deemed necessary by management

QUALIFICATIONS:


  • Able to maintain a positive and customer centered focus
  • To be able to keep organized in a dynamic environment
  • Resourceful team player who excels at building trusting relationships with customers and colleagues
  • Be an effective communicator to assist customers with their inquiries
  • Strong computer skills including Excel and data entry
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
