    Position Summary...

    The Senior Manager, Store Fulfilled Strategy is responsible for developing and driving forward the eCommerce Store Fulfilled (i.e. Omni) ambitions. This is a highly cross-functional and analytical role that owns the strategic roadmap, develops ambitions and drives business planning processes. They work as an internal consultant providing market intelligence, thought-leadership and analysis of new areas of opportunity. Occasionally they will lead market tests & early-stage programs themselves, such as the newly created WM Delivery Pass, before handing off to operational teams.

    What you'll do...

    • Develop and maintain the long-range strategy and planning framework for Online Grocery and Store Fulfilled. Use industry insights and cross-functional inputs to inform a multi-year roadmap that increases value over time. Scope and prioritize initiatives to meet strategic and financial goals.
    • Drive the strategic planning processes for Store Fulfilled, including 5-yr long-range planning (LRP) and annual operating plans (AOP).Gather inputs from the team and work with key stakeholders in Real Estate, Merchandising, Technology, Operations etc. to quantify the investments, savings and benefits required to deliver the LRP & AOP, facilitating trade-off decisions as required.
    • Align and report on Store Fulfilled OKRs, identifying risks and offset options as needed. Liaise cross-functionally and with other WM markets to influence targets and their trajectory over time. Work with Customer Insights team to measure market share and other industry benchmarks.
    • Use internal and external data to assess white space for future commercial opportunities, size the benefit, and model financial impact through business cases. Lead proof of concepts to validate the market opportunity or hand-off to implementation teams to pilot.
    • Run short tests and/or early-stage programs during their incubation period to drive initial cross-functional engagement.An example of this is WM Delivery Pass. Hand-off to operational teams once the program is stabilized.
    • Develop targeted strategies and ambitions for store clusters (urban, region-specific, rural, etc.). Identify actionable opportunities and drive forward initiatives with cross-functional support.
    • Conduct assessment of the current and future competitive landscape, sharing insights and recommendations on a regular basis with the broader team. Use market intelligence to identify opportunities and risks including consumer trends, competitive positioning, and market opportunities.
    • Facilitate regular strategic planning sessions and workshops with the leadership team. Maintain centralized tools and references that the team can use. Support as needed with executive-level, strategy-related presentations.
