Position Overview:


As a high profile, key member of the management team, the Mining Enterprise Sales Leader, will be responsible for providing strategic direction, leadership and implementing organizational sales and solutions strategy within the Mining Executive Account team.

This individual will maintain relationships at the c-suite level with Customers, Caterpillar, Dealers, and within Finning. You will work with top customers in industry and you will have the opportunity to revolutionize the sales process. This is an opportunity for you to put you mark on the organization and help us grow.


Job Description:


  • Lead, support and coach a team of Senior Enterprise Account Executives and/or Business Development Executives across multiple regions.
  • Develop and maintain trusted relationships with key decision makers and influencers in our Strategic Customer base; assure the right levels of customer contact across the Finning enterprise.
  • Lead a formal Solution Selling sales methodology framework designed to transform how we sell to differentiate Finning through enhanced customer business value.
  • Engage with senior leadership to set objectives, develop multiyear plans and identify innovative ways to enhance value for Finning customers.
  • Support our team through large, complex RFP projects that lead to long term, profitable growth for Finning and our customers.
  • Engage with Executive level clients to ensure satisfaction, respond to feedback and be an executive level pointofcontact.
  • Recruit, hire and coach a highperformance sales team; develop personalized coaching plans to enable team to maximize their potential.

Education & Experience:

  • Postsecondary education (or considerable work experience to supplement) in Finance, Marketing, or Business or related field.
  • 5+ Sales leadership experience and a track record of highperformance sales recruiting.
  • Consistent overachievement of sales growth objectives and customer retention objectives.
  • 10+ years of professional sales experience focused on digital transformation that demonstrates consistent success and an appetite to embrace challenges to grow your career.
  • Demonstrated experience in working with and communicating strategies and opportunities to executives, account management and business unit operations teams.
  • Strong sales acumen along with advanced level expertise in Commercial sales.
