Description
Carbonics is a dry ice and compressed gas delivery company serving clients throughout Ontario. Customer service, safety and team work are the 3 tenants that continue to help us grow and expand.We are currently looking for a Delivery Driver to help us with getting cylinders to our customers.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a cubevan on rural and urban routes
- Load and unload cylinders safely from the truck to filling station as well as to customers
- Prepare shipments for the day
- Fill out required safety paperwork on a daily basis
- Communicate with customers and clients throughout your shift
- Familiar with driving in different cities throughout Ontario and able to use GPS
- Coordinate with admin staff and other drivers to ensure equipment is cleaned and prepared for the next day
- Perform other tasks as required
Qualifications:
- Valid G driver's license and clean driver abstract
- MUST be able to speak, read and write English
- Clean criminal background check
- Good communication skills and be able to work under pressure
- Safetyoriented is the most important
- Must be physically fit and able to lift up to 50lbs safely and comfortably
- Outstanding attendance and punctuality
- Selfmotivated and works well with team members
Salary:
$20.00-$24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime
Licence/Certification:
- Class G Licence (required)
Ability to Commute:
- Guelph, ON (required)
