    Our Montreal based client is seeking an experienced SAP FI/CO Business Process Expert join their organization on a permanent full-time basis. This will be primarily a remote work setting, however, all candidates must be able to do occasional travel to some of the clients US locations when needed.

    • The FICO Business Process Expert would be working with the IT and the Finance Teams to ensure smooth running of the day-to-day business.
    • Prior experience in logistics OR aerospace / aviation / aircraft maintenance is an asset.
    • The FICO BPE, you would need to understand the business processes, ensuring they are lean, standardized and aligned with current industry's best practices.
    • The candidate would translate the business ideas and requirements into SAP terminology, support business case development and cost benefit analysis.
    • Support in the optimization and redesign of end-to-end (E2E) processes.
    • Introduce and formulate new business ideas (innovations), develop trends and optimize proposals for lean, user-friendly processes (SAP BPI, BPM).
    • Adhere to standards and striving for consolidation and harmonization of processes.
    • Identify requirements, interdependencies, dependencies and gaps in existing functionalities in close cooperation with Business Process Owner, Business Analyst and Business Application Expert.
    • Verify the potential impact on the respective (existing) processes and functionalities.
    • Monitor and analyze business processes.
    • Design, test, shape and implement changes in business processes.
    • Create business cases and support the prioritization process for requirements (in coordination with the Business Relationship Manager).
    • Support cost-benefit analyses and budget planning.
    • Liaise with the COE team and AMS team on issue resolution.
    • Collaborate with the business and technical SMEs.
    • Bachelor's degree in an appropriate discipline.
    • SAP certifications in appropriate modules (FI, CO, PS) is an asset.
    • 5+ years of experience in large-scale SAP deployment, support and/or upgrade projects.
    • Prior experience in SAP financial system configuration and deployment.
    • Expert in Core Finances (FICO) business processes and following functions: Material Ledger, Management Accounting, Financial Accounting, Accounts Payable,Accounts Receivable,Financial Reporting,Consolidation,Bank Interfaces, Taxation,Travel & Expense, Project System.
    • Strong competence in the use of SAP and all related IT processes.
    • Technical knowledge and process know-how (E2E).
    • Experience in process design and development of E2E processes.
    • Expertise in process management as well as in the application of supporting tools: e.g. SAP Solution.
    • Understanding of overarching relationships between business processes and SAP applications/solutions/products (T-Model).
    • Knowledge of the holistic process landscape.
    • Detailed knowledge of interfaces to other processes and SAP applications/solutions/products respectively non-SAP solutions.
    • Experience in application development.
    • Competence in implementing requirements according to technical possibilities.
    • Experience with support structures and escalation management.
    • Knowledge in creating business cases, cost-benefit analyses, and budget planning.
    • Experience with OneSource.
    • Positive leadership and great team player.
    • Prior experience in aerospace / aviation / aircraft maintenance is an asset.
    • Fluent in French and English is an asset.

    Must be legally authorized to work in Canada.
