Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Controller to join our team.
As the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for overseeing all financial activities of the company and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
This is a key leadership role within the organization, requiring strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to effectively communicate financial information to stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, and forecasts
- Conduct regular account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Monitor and analyze financial data, identifying trends and providing recommendations for improvement
- Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
- Coordinate payroll activities, ensuring accurate and timely processing
- Collaborate with external auditors during annual audits
- Stay uptodate with changes in financial regulations and ensure compliance
- Utilize accounting Sage software to maintain accurate financial records
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (Master's degree preferred)
- CPA or CMA certification is highly desirable
- Proven experience as a Financial Controller or similar role
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Proficiency in using sage accounting software
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail
- Solid understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
- Ability to effectively communicate complex financial information to stakeholders
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a team
Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent
Salary:
$61,106.17-$95,300.00 per year
