BartonAir Fabrications is seeking an experienced Industrial Electrician who can do electrical installations and repairs, maintain or oversee maintenance of CNC machines, forklifts, welders, HVAC system, Overhead Cranes, facilities maintenance and all other shop equipment as required.

The company is a certified N299 nuclear supplier, provides custom weldments, machining and refurbishment to a variety of industries from Hamilton Ontario, and is looking to grow our business.

PRIMARY FUNCTION:

Examine, Install, Replace or Repair electrical components or equipment.

Troubleshoot Industrial Control Systems and devices; keep maintenance records.

Read and interpret drawings and schematics.

Mechanical Maintenance of all equipment as required, and/or work with 3rdparty vendors.

TYPICAL TOOLS and EQUIPMENT:
All machinery and equipment applicable, lift trucks, cranes, special tools, hand power tools, etc,

PPE, gloves, hard hat, goggles, safety harness, face shield etc.

TYPICAL MATERIALS:
Ferrous and non-ferrous assemblies, raw materials, fixtures, etc.

Machinery parts, electrical panel boxes, electrical wiring, copper, aluminum, led, etc.

TYPICAL JOB DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:
Reports to Sr. Management

Work from written or verbal instructions.

Troubleshooting, replacing and / or repairing hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical equipment.

Perform routine PM supporting production process.

Test and approve for use equipment ( i.e. welding machine, hand grinder or drill ).

Monitor and maintain HVAC system, communicate issues with fellow workers and supervisors,

Have knowledge of health and safety procedures, standards and regulations.

Maintain work area clean and safe. Must be a Team Player. Some overtime may be required.

Also, perform additional duties set by supervisor, as required.

TYPICAL EDUCATION / TRAINING:
High school diploma, good communication skills, technical aptitude, good math skills,

$24.00-$30.00 per hour
