Duties:


  • The IYEC Camp Coordinator will report to the Indigenous Business & Public Administration program coordinator and be responsible for these duties:
  • Plan and coordinate the camp activities for the week
  • Setup accommodations for 20 students (oncampus) and meals
  • Contact parking about space for use during the week
  • Work with vendors concerning lunches and nightly activities
  • Create, and participate in, a weekly schedule of activities for Aug 121
  • Contact guest speakers for the camp, book rooms at FNUniv
  • Be the key contact for students, parents, and companies
  • Maintain and update the camp budget
  • Promote the camp to schools, youth groups and community associations
  • Update marketing materials
  • Develop a final report on the camp at the end of the program
  • Update and maintain webpage on FNUniv website
  • Job is designed to start April 15th
  • August 30th.
  • Pay will be $23.00/hour, 35 hours a week.
  • Willing to accommodate parking and daycare, as work will be on campus in Regina, can be discussed with Program Coordinator after hire.
