Location North Vancouver What you'll do Instructors will be responsible for delivering instruction and evaluation of students in VFX 231 , a second year visual effects course dealing primarily in simulation and procedural effects. The instructor will be responsible for utilizing existing course materials to deliver the course while making updates to the materials, which may also include the creation of new deliverables and assignments for the course. The instructor will be required to grade and evaluate at least 4 assignments through the semester and provide timely return of marks and / or feedback to students. The course is delivered in the fall and consists of 15, 4 hour classes for a total of 60 classroom hours.

    This course is part of the Visual Effects for Film, Streaming & Immersive Media Diploma. What you'll bring Required Qualifications
  • Master's degree or equivalent industry experience in 3D, VFX, or film (5 years minimum)
  • Proficient Houdini user creating visual effects and procedural tools for industry
  • Preference will be given to applicants with supervision experience
