Arcane Horizon provides support services to individuals with a developmental disability.Founded in 1995 to support two individuals, Arcane Horizon has grown to support over 60 individuals presently, with a variety of different support services.

- Overseeing operations within a home and providing direct support to individuals with an intellectual disability
- Providing positive leadership and direction to the staff team
- Being an advocate for the individuals supported by the agency
- Researching and implementing activities
- Being a part of the agency's emergency oncall rotation
- Attend and participate in annual individual planning sessions as required
- Perform crisis management as required
- Complete payroll, scheduling and other clerical duties
Qualifications:
- A minimum of two years supervisory experience in a supported living setting is required
- A minimum of three years experience working in residential support situations required
- Must be available to work days, evenings and weekends as required
- Postsecondary education in Social Work, Psychology, Community Support/Supervisions or a related discipline considered an asset
- Highly selfmotivated and able to manage with a minimum of supervision
- Energetic and motivated with a demonstrated ability to motivate others
- Excellent time management and organizational skills a must
- Working knowledge of current Vulnerable Persons legislation an asset
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook
- Possess a valid 5F driver's license and a car

Salary:
From $18.80 per hour

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
Experience:
- team lead: 2 years (preferred)
- supporting people with disabilities: 3 years (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- class 5I or 5F driver's license (preferred)
