Viking Way, Richmond, BC V6V 1N- This position falls within the components Department and entails the preparation of components from sheet steel for use in the assembly departments

Your responsibilities and tasks:

Manufacture sheet metal components as per supplied drawings.
Determine appropriate manufacturing sequences and work methods.
Transfer layout to suit drawing requirement using a variety of measuring instruments and scribing tools.

Your profile and qualifications:

Able to read technical drawings.
Sound knowledge of suing a variety of machines such as power shear, press brake, rolling machine, drilling machine and/or CNC punching machines.
Familiar with the operation of forklifts and overhead cranes.
Knowledge of safe working practices and procedures.
Capable of completing quality control documentation and able to verify that component meet quality requirements.
Perform routine machine maintenance.
Supervision of machine operator or labourer.
