Construction Site Worker


What is mandatory:
Must have "Working at Heights" certificate. (takes 1 day to get it)
Valid G Class Driver's License
DZ Class Driver's License preferable
Shifts: 6 AM start. 8 to 10-hour days

Pay Rate:
$24 - $26


Location:
Nepean, ON


Job Responsibilities:
Prepare construction sites by eliminating obstacles and hazards.
Efficiently load and unload construction materials.
Conduct site clean-up operations to ensure safety and organization.
Execute work at varying heights utilizing scaffolds, ladders, and lift equipment.
Deliver exceptional customer experiences through professional conduct and service delivery.
Collaborate effectively within small teams or independently.
Safely operate and maintain vehicles and equipment.
Assemble and dismantle temporary structures such as scaffolding.
Adhere to supervisor instructions and seek on-the-job training as required.
Assist in the completion of daily work records and paperwork.
Contribute to the completion of essential health and safety documentation.


Qualifications:
Valid G Class Driver's License
DZ Class Driver's License preferable
Previous experience with drywall, home renovations, or landscaping preferred.
Must have "Working at Heights" certificate.
Maneuver within confined spaces while maintaining control over tools and materials.
Perform tasks that involve reaching above head level for insulation installation.
Utilize a diverse array of hand and power tools for insulation installation.
Operate vehicles and equipment with appropriate training and proficiency.
Display endurance for prolonged periods of standing, stretching, and bending.
Sustain physical activity throughout the workday to ensure productivity.
Effectively coordinate with crew members, suppliers, equipment operators, and other tradespeople.
Demonstrate problem-solving abilities and independent critical thinking
Possess basic mathematical and language literacy skills.
Maintain organizational standards and cleanliness at work sites.
Exhibit enthusiasm for learning new skills and embracing innovative ideas.
