Job description
The employee is responsible for receiving, inspecting and packaging a variety of products according to detailed instructions.

This is a full-time position in our Surrey facility. Hours are Monday to Friday 7:30am - 4:00pm with possible overtime.

Essential Functions (other duties may be assigned):

Prepare necessary documents to ship finished goods.
Pack and prepare goods for shipping using appropriate packing and shipping materials. This includes adding tagging, small parts (keys, couplings, etc.).
Perform product inspections at receiving and prior to shipping.
Schedule pick up with transport companies. Load and unload delivery trucks.
Maintain shipping records. Close out shipped orders on computer system.
Receive goods on computer system and close out shipped orders on computer system.
Drive forklift or use pallet jacket to move bulk product to the proper destination point.
Ensure housekeeping and organization (5S) of the shipping area.
Perform product inspections at receiving and prior to shipping.
Ensure any parts received without part numbers are tagged with appropriate number.
Create labels for any new, special or not previously stocked items.

Minimum Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent.
Three (3) years of warehouse or shipping experience.
Competent computer skills (Microsoft Office)
