Jack of Sports provides a platform for coaches & children to develop their Confidence, Resilience & Teamwork skills through Swim Lessons, Summer Camps, Bike Programs & 3V3 Dutch Soccer.
Jack of Sports is hiring Camp Site Supervisors for Summer 2023 for 7 locations across Toronto. Locations include Mississauga, Etobicoke South, Etobicoke North, High Park, Roncesvalles, Palmerston, North Toronto, East York, Beaches, Scarborough, Pickering. Looking to start by April/May.
As the Youth Summer Camp Director, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and overall management of our summer camp program.
Your leadership will play a crucial role in creating a safe, engaging, and fun environment for campers while promoting personal development and teamwork.
This is a seasonal, full-time position during the camp season.Key Responsibilities:

Program Delivery:
- Ensure each theme camp lesson template is being executed properly.
Team Leadership:
- Recruit, train, and supervise camp staff, ensuring a positive and collaborative team environment.
- Provide guidance and foster professional development opportunities.
Safety and Well-being:
- Prioritize and maintain a safe and secure camp environment, adhering to all safety regulations and protocols.
Camper Experience:
- Ensure a positive and inclusive experience for campers through effective communication, conflict resolution, and fostering a sense of community.
Parent Communication:
- Establish and maintain open communication with parents/guardians, providing regular updates on camp activities, events, and camper progress.
- Address and resolve any concerns or inquiries promptly and professionally.
Logistics and Operations:
- Manage daytoday camp operations, including scheduling, logistics, and coordination of activities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Recreation/Sports Management, Education, or a related field.
- Proven experience in camp administration or a similar leadership role.
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and emergency response procedures.
- Passion for youth development, education, and fostering a positive camp culture.
Additional Requirements:
- First Aid and CPR certification.
- Criminal background check clearance.
- Availability during the entire camp season
Job Types:
Full-time, Seasonal
Contract length: 3 months
Salary:
$20.00-$26.00 per hour
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
Supplemental pay types:
- Bonus pay
