Job Summary:
The Grand Format Printer Operator is a key member of the grand format & installations department ensuring production quality is achieved as well as playing a key role in customer satisfaction goals.
Major Responsibilities:
- Proof finished products for any errors, including colour and size deviations
- Communicate and trouble shoot with other departments to meet deadlines
- Provide general cleaning and maintenance of colour printers and equipment
- Operating large format printers' and cutting machines
- Follow procedures established to ensure accurate work
- Retrieve stock from warehouse for printing
- Gather, organize, and wrap completed work for delivery to customer or next department
- Monitor work for high quality
- Maintain cleanliness of work area and department
- Some heavy lifting over 50lbs may be required
- Take an active role in quality management and process improvement
