Toyota Tsusho Canada, Inc. currently has an opportunity for the position of Accounting Specialist

Daily invoicing, using three way match approach, maintain customer invoice records (including Export shipments).
Reconciling cash applied from customer collections.
Running 'Shipped not invoiced' reports daily for invoicing purpose.
Weekly processing of credit management reporting to present aging of accounts for senior management.
Running 'Open Sales Order over 60 Days' reports twice a month.
Performs backup responsibilities for cheque run, treasury and wire transfers and prepares related documentation.
Perform all necessary journal entries, reports and account reconciliations to meet corporate reporting deadline of a 3 day close.
Process A/R adjustments, offsets where necessary.
Support Woodstock sales staff as needed.
All other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

Level 2 CGA and actively enrolled in courses towards completion of the next level considered an asset.
Minimum of 2 years' experience in the functions of A/R, A/P, inventory, related reconciliations and period closing.
A college or university diploma/degree.
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) with the ability to interact with people at various levels of the organization.
Strong analytical skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment driven by deadlines.
Strong clientfocus orientation.
Working knowledge of JD Edwards system or an AS400 system.
Must have strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, and Outlook.
Must be able to travel to Woodstock and Cambridge on a weekly basis.
