About the Role:


As a
Social Media Manager, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our brand's online presence and driving engagement with our target audiences to help the company achieve its goals.

You will be responsible for setting, managing, and executing our social media strategy across various brokerage and branch accounts - public and private.

You will manage a publishing calendar, create compelling content and templates, proactively engage our social community, communicate with branches, analyze and improve upon performance metrics.

Your expertise in optimizing content to perform on key social media platforms to achieve business goals via effective copywriting and design will be critical.

You will be part of an amazing Marketing and Communications team who work closely together to meet and exceed goals.


What You'll be Doing

Social Media Management**: Proficient in managing social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, X, LinkedIn, Google Business Profiles, YouTube, etc. This includes creating and scheduling content, engaging with followers, social listening, optimizing posts for maximum reach and engagement, and advising branches on how to optimize their social presence.

Content Creation: Effectively work with colleagues and outsourced resources to develop compelling and creative content tailored to each persona and social media platform. This may include digital design, writing engaging captions, designing visuals, editing videos, and utilizing multimedia elements effectively. This will also involve creating social media templates for Branch staff to use and customize for local audiences.

Strategy Development:Ability to develop and implement social media strategies aligned with the organization's goals and target audiences. This involves conducting market research, identifying trends, leveraging best practices, setting measurable objectives, and monitoring analytics to improve performance.

Community Management: Proficient in building and managing online communities. This includes responding to comments, messages, and reviews in a timely and professional manner, resolving issues, and fostering positive relationships with followers. In addition, monitoring Facebook Groups after hours to approve/reject Facebook Group post and member requests, as needed.

Analytics and Reporting: Proficient in using social media analytics tools to track key performance indicators (KPIs), measure the effectiveness of social media campaigns, and provide regular reports with actionable insights and recommendations for improvement.

Social Media Advertising: Familiarity with social media advertising platforms such as Meta Ads Manager and LinkedIn Ads, etc. Ability to create and optimize ad campaigns, target specific audience segments, monitor ad performance, plan and manage social media spend, and maximize ROI.

Trend Awareness: Stay up to date with the latest social media trends, algorithm changes, and industry best practices. Continuously research new tools, features, and strategies to keep the organization's social media presence reflecting current best practices.

Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively engage with followers, collaborate with team and staff members, and communicate brand messaging in a clear and compelling manner.

Creativity: Ability to think creatively and outside the box to develop innovative social media campaigns, viral content ideas, and unique strategies to stand out in a crowded digital landscape.

Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills to address challenges that may arise on social media platforms, such as handling negative comments or online reputation management.

Adaptability: Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities, trends, platforms, and algorithms. Proactively learn and explore new social media tools and techniques to stay ahead of the curve.

Collaboration:Strong teamwork and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams ensuring cohesive and integrated social media efforts.
