    Description
    Applications (along with Sales)

    Strategy:
    Coaching – inter-relationships between sales, applications team and operations on out-of-the-box strategies to delight our customers and crush the competition and win
    Involved in strategic planning to develop and drive strategic initiatives and goals
    Well networked within the automation industry
    Directly responsible for good quality customer proposals that directly impact of $100M CAD of revenue and profitability:
    All risks (technical, commercial, legal, etc.) are appropriately identified and managed
    ~ Deep understanding of Automation Industry
    ~15+ years of experience in industrial automation designing, building, supplying custom automation equipment to manufacturers.
    ~ In-depth understanding of robotics, automation, control systems, mechanical design for automation, OEE and overall effectiveness of manufacturing equipment
    ~ Experienced at designing/supplying automation equipment that appeals to those that will operate and maintain the equipment and make their jobs more convenient, efficient, and enjoyable
    ~ The ability to distill complex processes (technical, people, process, political) into simple, actionable strategies to move forward
    ~ In depth knowledge of various manufacturing processes from Automotive, Food and Beverage, Consumer Products and/or Life Science industries
