You will be important in establishing the service and then delivering care services to users in their own place of residence.

We will provide you with all the needed Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and appropriate training, as well as daily infection prevention screening of clients and workers, prior to visits, to help prevent exposures to COVID-19.

Job Duties
You will provide in-home support to an adult with physical disabilities who requires assistance with activities of daily living, that could include but are not limited to:

  • bathing/showering
- dressing
- assistance with activities of daily living

Also, as a PSW you may help your client with tasks such as meal preparation and light household chores.


Job Qualification


Completion of formal, accredited caregiver training program (PSW or Personal Support Worker) and/or a combination of equivalent education and experience needed.

Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle may be required for some home visits.

  • Have good communication skills
  • Be reliable and punctual
  • Ability to have a flexible schedule

Salary:
From $18.00 per hour


Schedule:

  • Day shift
  • Evening shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Night shift
  • Weekend availability

Supplemental pay types:

  • Bonus pay
  • Overtime pay
  • Retention bonus

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Greater Toronto Area, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
