Description
Our mission is to build the next generation of animal care for the modern world.

By leveraging technology and design, we are reimagining the animal care experience for pets, pet parents, and care providers from the ground up.

With the consumer and pet at the heart of everything we do, we seek to rebuild the way veterinary medicine is delivered and disrupt a traditional industry across every customer touchpoint and interaction.

We are looking for a Strategy and Operations Associate to join our growing team and help develop, prioritize, and operationalize strategies across a variety of initiatives and company objectives.

What You'll Do:

  • Manage highimpact initiatives cutting across the Member Experience and Virtual Care functions of the business, use insights and influence to own and execute on them
  • Drive operational excellence for the Virtual Care organization, including helping to define the operating model and standards of service and helping to drive efficiency. Partner crossfunctionally with Operations, Medicine, and Product to help implement process changes, execute roadmap initiatives and drive business objectives
  • Independently create and own analyses to proactively identify performance trends, dive deep into the data and daytoday virtual care operations to conduct 'root cause' analysis, and collaborate crossfunctionally to implement highvalue solutions
  • Bring a deep understanding of the members we are serving to the entire company using data and storytelling. Help to grow Member Experience (MX) as a strategic pillar for the company and power sound decisionmaking
  • Optimize existing processes and create new processes that sets the organization up for scale and delivers on our agreed upon Member Experience standards. Work cross functionally with key partners to ensure that these processes include the perspectives of all key stakeholders and decision makers
  • Communicate out effectively and consistently on progress, risk, opportunities you identify in the business across functions

Who we're looking for:

-
Ownership: you are able to deeply understand the end-goal of anything you're working on and what the value is to the business
- you use that as a guiding light to work independently, make decisions independently and organize & drive your own work
-
Process-Oriented: you are strong at creating processes out of ambiguity that you can quickly iterate upon. You're detail oriented and ensure each piece of the process is clear before testing
-
Navigating ambiguity: you are able to create structure in ambiguity, and don't let a lack of definition stop you from moving things forward, whether that's a lack of complete data or an ever changing organization
-
Bias for action: you thrive in a fast paced environment and know when things need to move quickly vs. when to find the "perfect" solution
-
Interpersonal Communication: You thrive at communicating with teammates. You're strong at bringing context and the larger picture into your conversations, while also being able to drop down into details.

You have:

  • 23 years of experience working in consulting, investment banking, private equity, or a fast growing startup
  • Ability to structure and tackle ambiguous, realworld problems
  • Comfortable running rigorous quantitative and qualitative analyses to drive strategy and inform business opportunities
  • Strong customer relationship and resolution skills
  • Operational workflow and process improvement experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • The ability to work thoroughly & independently, requesting appropriate assistance when necessary

Our promise to you:

  • We hire smart people and give them ownership. We want you to be a leader with the autonomy to make decisions and build something from scratch
  • Competitive compensation
  • Full benefits package including access to mental health support, continuing education, and mentorship opportunities
  • A collaborative team who has your back and will welcome you as part of the pack
  • Time for you and loved ones: great PTO, paid parental leave, discounted Juno Vet services for pets
We're looking for people who are not just team players, but also leaders. If you've made it this far, you're probably looking for something different than what's already out there.

So were we — let's meet.- Requests for accommodation due to a disability or any other protected characteristic can be made at any stage of the recruitment process and throughout employment by contacting our People Operations team.
