North Lakes Developments & Construction - Residential Construction Foreman/Supervisor

North Lakes Developments & Construction has a new and exciting opportunity for a Skilled, Hardworking and Experienced Construction Foreman to coordinate operations and to oversee workers at interior construction sites.

This is a working position that will require you to do some construction tasks to assist in the overall operation.

Workplace safety must be a priority. You are well organized and are able to problem solve and make your own decisions.


Responsibilities

• Supervise, train and monitor attendance of crews
• Read/comprehend project drawings
• Coordinate tasks according to priority
• Allocate general and daily responsibilities
• Ensure that there is enough manpower on site to get the work completed
• Thrives in fastpaced working environments and is flexible and adaptable to changing priorities
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and implement measures to maintain a safe working environment
• Supervise the use of machinery and equipment
• Resolve problems when they arise
• Report on progress to Operations Manager

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Construction Foreman directing a crew of 3 or more people
• Advanced skills with design interpretation, trade calculations and layout
• Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering highquality construction projects that meet or exceed client expectations
• Efficient at framing, installing drywall, tape, floors, kitchen, bathroom and tiles
• Proven ability to lead and manage construction teams effectively, ensuring collaboration, productivity and highquality work
• Able to teach and hold others accountable to results
• Problem Solving Skills
• Aptitude for physically demanding work
• First Aid training and other certifications an asset

Wage & Benefits

• Full time/permanent position
• Hourly rate to be determined dependent on experience

Salary:
$30-$40/hr

Salary:
$30.00-$40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 50 per week
