- Participate in setting priorities and implementing the Municipality's Strategic Plan.
- Ensure effective and efficient delivery of all municipal services.
- Assist in developing organizational plans and review departmental aspects.
- Oversee infrastructure and capital construction programs.
- Develop and enforce Municipal standards, monitor processes, and resolve issues.
- Prepare reports and updates for Council on service delivery changes.
- Provide advice on engineering studies and regulatory requirements.
- Supervise consultants and contractors for departmental projects.
- Develop and implement budgets for review by Senior Management and Council.
- Coordinate asset management plans to deliver results aligned with the organizational vision.
- Build strong relationships with colleagues, officials, agencies, and the community.
- Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and documentation standards.
- Attend meetings, respond to inquiries, and advise on departmental matters.
- Implement Council directives and minimize risks for departmental assets.
- Direct best practices for transportation and infrastructure components.
- Oversee water, wastewater, and agricultural services in consultation with relevant managers.
- Conduct employee reviews, encourage training, and support recruitment efforts.
- Resolve employee disputes and foster a positive organizational culture.
- Promote efficiency, continuous improvement, and innovation within the department.
- Act as Acting CAO in the absence of the CAO.
- Perform any other duties as required.
- Develop and execute long-term plans efficiently.
- Inspire teams with strong leadership and promote collaboration.
- Utilize operational best practices to optimize workflows.
- Manage resources effectively with financial acumen.
- Analyze challenges and implement solutions for improved performance.
- Communicate clearly with stakeholders and staff.

- Engineering degree with a Professional Engineering designation.
- Minimum 7 years of municipal leadership experience.
- Familiarity with relevant legislation and engineering requirements.
- Proficiency in various software and project management skills.
- Ability to work independently on complex projects.
- Required checks and licenses.
