This Corporate Services Division provides corporate business support services for AGLC.

It consists of the Office of the CFO, Corporate Operations, Finance, Procurement, Properties, Strategy, Enterprise Risk Management and Internal Audit.

JOB SUMMARY

AGLC is searching for a Summer Student This is a fantastic opportunity to experience a dynamic organization leading Alberta's gaming, liquor and cannabis industries This is a temporary position able to start right away and complete August 23, 2024.


You will love this role if:

  • You enjoy carpentry and have some basic skills.
  • You have excellent customer service, communication, and problemsolving skills.
  • You are able to respond independently to challenges and changes while maintaining confidentiality, diplomacy, discretion, and professionalism.

What you will be doing:

  • Provide warehousing and labor support services to stock and maintain inventory of office furniture, filing cabinets, chairs, furniture components, housekeeping receptacles and other equipment and supplies.
  • Assemble and disassemble furniture and office supplies.
  • Assist with office staff relocations.
  • Provide support to maintain/transport facility seasonal equipment.
  • Help Properties operations as required.

SKILLS & ABILITIES

  • Minimum of completion of High School Diploma OR currently enrolled in a post‐secondary institution full‐time.
  • Returning to or continuing full‐time academic studies in September following their summer employment
  • Class 5 Drivers License
  • Carpentry Skills
  • Trade courses will be considered an asset.

NOTE:


  • To be eligible to work for AGLC, you must be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident or eligible to work in Canada.
  • As a condition of employment, you will be required to obtain a satisfactory security clearance and clean drivers abstract (if necessary) prior to employment.
