We are seeking an innovative and dedicated individual to join our forward-thinking Identity and Access Management (IAM) Portfolio within the Cyber Security Division.
Reporting to the Assistant Director, Credential & Identity Administration you will be part of a dynamic and highly skilled team of cyber specialists enabling Canada's Central Bank to work securely.
With the increase in sophistication and frequency of cyber-attacks, cyber security has been identified as a top priority at the Bank of Canada.

What you will do
The focus of this role is to support the enhancement of Privileged Access Management (PAM) and Identity Administration and Governance (IGA) solutions with the protection of identity data in mind.
More specifically, you will:
- Play an active role in ensuring the integration of services, data flow and functionality for all Credential Management and Identity Administration's platforms.
- Review, report and remediate data related to Access Certifications.
- Provide system support and validate the integrity of data provided by system owners.
- Assist with the development of performance metrics.
- Participate in defining, improving and documenting business and system processes.
- Assist in preparing enduser documentation, guidelines, visuals and training materials.
- Participate and support audit events and provide necessary evidence for any audit queries.
- Identity opportunities for automation, innovation and streamlining the IAM lifecycle processes.
- Maintain working knowledge of the technical security policies, standards and processes related to digital identity management that are used at the Bank of Canada.
What you need to succeed
You are a great team player; have strong communication skills and you are willing to communicate and work with colleagues to deliver end-to-end solutions.
You are also a self-starter, capable of grasping new information and providing innovative solutions in a team environment.In addition, you have experience in:
- Communicating with end users and IT teams to fulfill and/or resolve issues related to PAM/IGA requests.
- Handson experience supporting PAM and IGA solutions (preferable CyberArk and SailPoint IdentityIQ technologies).
- Hands on experience with Windows and Linux.
Knowledge of:
- Cyber security principles
- Digital identity management concepts and concerns
- Identity Administration and Governance (IGA) solutions including managing user access
- Privileged Access Management (PAM)
- Role Based Access and Attribute Based Access (RBAC/ABAC) including RBAC/ABAC lifecycle.
- Agile DevOps principles
Nice-to-have
- Proficiency in data analytics.
- Scripting knowledge (e.g. PowerShell, Perl, Bash, Python)
- Understanding of cloud platform systems and tools (Azure cloud prefferred).

- Priority will be given to Canadian citizens and permanent residents
- Security level required: Be eligible to obtain Secret
