What role will you play?:

Reporting to the Business Solution Delivery Lead ("BSDL"), the role of the Business Solutions Delivery IT Partner ("BSD" IT Partner) is to manage the end-to-end delivery of IT solutions to the business sub-domain.

This is a pivotal role because BSD IT Partner will liaise with other senior members of the IT leadership team, client sponsors and stakeholders to deliver IT solutions to meet business needs.

The BSD IT Partner is accountable for the portfolio management of its sub-domain, from prioritization, design, orchestration of work, interdependency and risk management, delivery and successful transition of IT solutions to IT operations.

What you'll be responsible for:

Direct and oversee the management of the business subdomain's IT budget, and provide transparency on costs and capabilities.
Negotiate prioritization of work within the subdomain team and with other colleagues based on priorities.
Proactively provide strategic advice and guidance about IT market trends to foster innovation within the subdomain, in collaboration with Center of Expertise and Enterprise architecture teams
Monitor IT performance and address major risks, issues and interdependencies for the business subdomain(s) under her/his responsibility to proactively manage business expectations
Provide high level estimates of effort and track performance and budget consumption
Facilitate people management and resourcing (in collaboration with the CoEs); defining roles and responsibilities, staff reviews/appraisals, recruitment/dismissals and staff training
Manage vendor performance under her/his leadership when applicable and work in collaboration with the sourcing and procurement team to support any procurement activities

What does it take for this role to be yours?:

Client Management : experienced in effectively interacting and communicating with business partners
Value Management: Minimum 5 years' experience managing large, complex investment budgets, can identify the effectiveness and completeness of business and technology strategies and ensure alignment with clients and other applicable crossorganization strategies
Minimum of 810 years' experience of contributing to the success of a range of midtolarge size initiatives with aboveaverage levels of complexity and business criticality
Solution Design: Minimum of 58 years' experience leading medium to large multidisciplinary teams, building a teamoriented, collaborative environment, experienced with several solution process design or reengineering efforts

Additional skills that set you apart:

Project Management: experienced in managing projects/programs; comprehensive knowledge of project/program management methodologies and tools, including Agile methodologies
Financial Management: strong understanding of key concepts of financial processes such as budgeting, financial modeling, ROI development etc.
Delivery methodology: knowledge and experience in agile / scrum / iterative Development

Education and certification:

Academic : university degree or higher in Engineering, Technology or related field (required), degree in Business Administration (MBA) (Asset)
Certifications : PMP, ITIL foundations (Asset), Agile (Asset)
