Today is the day to boost your career Pinchin is seeking an Environmental Scientist to join our Environmental Due Diligence & Remediation team in our Winnipeg Office.
A Day in the life of an Environmental Scientist at Pinchin:
- Perform Phase I Environmental Site Assessments
- Complete field investigations related to the assessment of sites including the preparation of field notes and project hazard assessment forms
- Prepare technical reports and assist with determining appropriate recommendations
- Work collaboratively with project coordinators/managers to ensure projects are completed within the given timeline and budget
- Work in both a selflead and team environment
- Liaise with site representatives and contractors
What you bring to the Pinchin team:
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Environmental Science's
- 13 years of experience in the environmental consulting industry.
- Excellent writing, editing, technical and organizational skills along with the ability to problem solve
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience using AutoCAD will be considered an asset.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Suite including Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook
- Valid driver's license, insurance, and personal vehicle (work related travel expenses will be compensated)
- Availability to travel for work throughout Manitoba
- Availability to occasional work outside of core business hours (i.e., evenings and weekends)
- Availability to use handheld tools such as pumps, hammer drill, etc. to complete field activities
