    Job Duties/Qualifications, Skills and Abilities (QSA)

    Job Duties Job Duties Plan/facilitate the delivery of a learning program or course within the Emergency Health Care Program including: providing tutorial, counseling assistance, facilitating labs, scenario skill practice, small groups and lectures: evaluating course/program and result of teaching process and revising/maintaining curriculum QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, ABILITIES AND EXPERIENCE Description Required Qualifications - Completion of an ICP (Intermediate Care Paramedic)/ACP (Advanced Care Paramedic) program from an approved school.


    • A min. of 2 years' experience as an EMT-P/ACP, EMT-A/ICP.
    • Current license with the Saskatchewan College of Paramedics.
    • Current Instructor level certification in International Trauma Life Support (ITLS) and CPR.
    • SaskPolytech Simulation Lab Basic Operator
    • Understanding of an ability to apply basic principles and practices of adult education to assist learners with the required emergency health care knowledge and skills.
    • Well developed interpersonal and communication skills including excellent written and oral presentation skills and an ability to develop and maintain productive working relations with instructors, program administrators, employers, students, other clients and the public.
    • Experience facilitating Emergency Health Care students in a preceptor based practicum.
    • Strong computer skills
    • Experience facilitating online courses

    • Preference will be given to current Saskatchewan Polytechnic faculty Desired QSA Required Competencies
