Position Overview:


The General Manager plays a critical role in ensuring the seamless operations of our gym, aiming to deliver an exceptional member experience within a positive environment while ensuring financial success.

This leadership position requires the ability to motivate and lead a team, coupled with a commitment to continuous employee training and development.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) serve as our compass, guiding all club departments toward meeting budgetary goals and continuous improvement.

Your distinguishing factor will be the time invested on the ground, fostering enduring relationships across teams, members, and local communities.


Responsibilities:

Team Building: Source, interview, and hire managers and team members, establishing strong, cohesive teams.

Management Oversight: Directly manage the team, set weekly schedules, and assign responsibilities to ensure smooth operations.

Training Standards: Oversee and maintain training standards, coaching and developing team members to enhance sales performance.

Development and Coaching: Consistently develop and coach team members and managers, providing training on employment policies and practices.

Staff Meetings and Goals: Conduct staff meetings, set goals, and energize the team around daily, weekly, and monthly objectives.

Business Growth: Drive business profitability and inspire the team to achieve daily, weekly, and monthly objectives.

Member Retention: Ensure timely resolution of member concerns as retention is a key priority.

KPI Monitoring: Monitor staff performance through scoreboards, ensuring KPI standards are met or exceeded.

Facility Maintenance: Maintain a clean facility with equipment operating at optimal levels.

Payroll and Scheduling: Manage employee payroll and scheduling, ensuring adequate staffing levels at all times.

Product and Service Knowledge: Possess a comprehensive understanding of all offerings, amenities, and equipment utilization.

Compliance and Accuracy: Ensure and monitor compliance with all policies, procedures, and standards, maintaining accuracy in operations.

Inventory Management: Monitor club inventory and ensure timely restocking.


Do YOU Have What It Takes?

  • Minimum 3+ years of fitness facility or serviceoriented management experience required.
  • Ownership mentality.
  • Experience with operational budgeting and planning.
  • Experience supervising a team of at least 15 employees required.
  • Experience with business operations such as finance, administration, and labor management required.
  • CPR/AED certification required (can be obtained within 30 days of hire).
  • Ability to take assertive action to accomplish objectives, innovate, and solve problems.
  • Knowledge of key metrics and drivers to grow business.

Compensation (Salary):

- $40,000 - $42,000

  • Monthly, quarterly bonus, incentive & personal commissionn opportunities.

Pay:
$40,000.00-$42,000.00 per year

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
