Through Canada Summer jobs we received a position for a Recreation student. This is a 8 week contract at 30hrs per week.Assets and Qualifications
- Student enrolled in Therapeutic Recreation/ Recreation & Leisure/ or Related field
- Interest working with seniors with complex, agerelated diseases and/or mental health concerns
- Creativity and enthusiasm to take risks, share new innovative ideas and overall enhance the offerings of our program team.
- Current Police Record Check with Vulnerable Sector component required
- Current TB skin test or ability to obtain
Job Description and Responsibilities
- Assisting in planning and facilitating programs and special events
- Assisting Residents in Health & Wellness Centre
- Maintaining program attendance
- Reports to the Director of programs
Required Shifts:
- Evening Shift
- Weekends and Holidays
