RESPONSIBILITIES
- Track Project backlog and resource plan across all projects
- Create and communicate project progression and any necessary updates to internal personnel and clients
- Create Project Schedules in MS Project or Primavera
- Assist the project team and other planners
- Compile data from different sources and create reports from gathered data
- Prepare clear and accurate reports and distribute/communicate them to necessary project personnel
- Monitor project schedule by creating the critical path, key project milestones and schedule basis
- Create weekly forecast schedules
- Maintain project schedule by reporting project progress and potential risks
- Calculate and create earned value reports
- Assist in updates and development of standards and procedures within TWD Quality Program
- Liaise with other departments/project staff to inform or receive project updates
- Communicate any project delays/bottlenecks
- Advise supervisors/managers of any schedule issues/concerns
- Prepare materials for periodic review meetings with project team and stakeholders
- Evaluate project performance using TWD cost control reports
- Develop and maintain project schedules using MS Project and/or Primavera P
- Create custom reports related to project performance and finance as needed to meet internal and external project needs
- Provide cost control on Construction projects tracking invoices, purchase orders, contractor progress reports, etc.
- Interpret data and communicate its importance to all relevant internal (Project Managers, TWD Management, etc.) and external (Client Project Managers, etc.) stakeholders.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 5 years minimum relevant experience in energy, oil and gas, pipeline, and industrial projects
- Post Secondary Education in engineering, technology, and/or finance/accounting
- Highly skilled with MS Excel
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Experience in MS Project or Primavera would be an asset
- Completion of a relevant postsecondary program
- Must have experience in planning, scheduling and project coordination
- Construction and Field experience with the Oil & Gas industry.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
- Prior EPCM experience is an asset
