Responsibilities

  • Ensure safety is put first in the execution of all tasks and processes.
  • Review and evaluate pipeline questionnaire, construction drawings, and asbuilt drawings for upcoming job. Make necessary changes to mitigate risks ensuring a safe and successful job.
  • Supervise the assembly and final buildout of the ILI machine prior to dispatching the tool to the job site.
  • Perform QA/QC analysis on ILI tool build and testing.
  • Leads the execution of the ILI field operations, prejob planning and liaise with the customer throughout the ILI job. This includes logístical requirements.
  • Be the onsite representative for Entegra at the job site. Communicate with customers regarding job execution including safety, scheduling, operations, and run status.
  • Develop, document, and communicate jobsite safety analysis plan for each job. Conduct tailgate safety meetings.
  • Complete all job closing documents and reporting.
  • Train ILI crew members on all aspects of ILI operations.
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and cost savings.
  • Performs other assigned tasks.

Requirements:


  • 2 years ILI experience
  • ASNT ILI-PQ Tool Operator Level II or greater certification.
  • Working knowledge of pipeline liquid and gas hydraulics.
  • Working knowledge of pipeline operations.
  • Proficient in of Microsoft Suite (exec, word, outlook, share point, etc.).
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to work alone and as a team depending on the job requirements.

Education

  • Minimum
:

High School or equivalent.

  • Preferred 2year College and/or Technical Electronic Degree.

Additional Requirements

  • Proof of valid class 5 driver's license with clean driving record.
  • Current safety tickets
:

H2S Alive, Standard First Aid & CPR

  • Ability to work long hours, including early morning start and/or late evening finish.
  • Ability to routinely lift and carry up to 25kg.
  • Ability to wear a respirator (this would require being clean shaven as needed)
  • Ability to work under extreme weather conditions.
  • Passport or ability to obtain one if required.
  • Willingness to travel up to 80% of the time within Canada and the USA.
